Once inserted into the HeartStart OnSite device, these specialized pads deactivate the defibrillator’s shock function, initiating its training mode. This mode supports running eight emergency scenarios, aligning the defibrillator’s voice instructions, and CPR coaching accordingly, based on the Infant / Child cartridge.

The Philips Onsite training pads cartridge can be applied to a manikin using the Internal Manikin Adapter (M5088A) or External Manikin Adapter (M5089A). Each training pads cartridge comprises a removable clear protective lid equipped with a handle, a resealable film cover, and a pair of reusable adhesive pads. Alongside this, it includes a Pads Placement Guide for Infant/Child and detailed instructions for installation, utilization, and repackaging post-use.
